CSR Activities
Over the years, Kamat Hopital has been committed to providing healthcare for society especially
for the class of patients not in an economically sound position. The suitability and efficiency of the
programs is focused on those who will ultimately benefit from them. Our Values are mainly inspired by
providing affordable treatment of unsurpassed quality which leads us towards CSR activities. We
promote awareness programs, especially preventive care and training people on several health
related problems.
Our CSR Team is committed to create and develop the mechanism to implement , record , review
and calculate the activities conducted. By this, we ensure the efficiency of the program to give significant and relevant healthcare and education to the beneficiaries and involve
ourselves in contributing to society.
Kolhapur Flood Donation
Flood had caused large scale destruction in various district of Maharashtra like Kolhapur. For sharing a part for rehabilitation, the hands of Directors & staff - Kamat Hospital came forward to help the flood affected population .
Kerala Flood Donation
Subsequent to the natural calamity, we contributed to the medical rehabilitation of flood affected victims in the state of Kerala.
Women’s day celebration
As a Gynaec Hospital, The care of women is important to us. Generally, Social, economical, cultural and political achievements of women are celebrated but here motherhood is celebrated .
Hand Hygiene Day
Health comes from prevention and prevention comes from hygiene. Infectious diseases continue to be a health challenge and economic burden in our society. Though effective hand hygiene education is critical, there has been a steady decline in hygiene promotion. Hand hygiene is the single most important tool for prevention of health care associated infections in mothers and children.
Breast feeding week
Pimpri Nursing School observed Breastfeeding Week on 7/8/2024 at Kamat Hospital. World breastfeeding week is observed every year between 1st to 7th of August in order to create awareness and emphasis on its importance among the public and health workers in the hospital and community.
Celebrated National Tobacco Day the collaboration with Aundh Government hospital
The National Tobacco Control Program (NTCP) aims to Reduce tobacco consumption and prevalence and. raise awareness about tobacco's harmful effects. The program's ultimate goal is to reduce tobacco-related morbidity and mortality, promoting a healthier population. Kamat Hospital & Pimpri Nursing School celebrated National Tobacco Day the collaboration with Aundh Government hospital.

DE-WORMING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN SCHOOL HEALTH ACTIVITIES REPORT
August 10th is observed as National Deworming Day in India. The day aims to combat worm infections among children, which can lead to malnutrition, anaemia, and other health issues. Under this concept Deworming Awareness programme organized in various school in Pimpri Chinchwad by Kamat Medical Foundation and Research Centre Pimpri Nursing School Pune-33.
De-Worming Campaign activities including Health Education and Distribution of Deworming Medicine collaboration YCM Hospital at Shri Hanumant Bhosale Prathamik school, & Probodhini krida public school in Nehru Nagar Pimpri.
International Yoga Day Celebration
Kamat Hospital Staff & GNM students, aims for celebrating International Yoga Day at Pimpri Nursing School to Promote physical and mental well-being among students and staff and to raise awareness about yoga's benefits for overall health.
World Leprosy Day Celebration
World Leprosy Day was observed at Kamat Hospital & Pimpri Nursing School with great enthusiasm and awareness on 1st and 3rd February 2025.Aims and Objectives of Celebrating World Leprosy Day, to raise public awareness about leprosy and its impact on individuals and communities.

As part of the celebration, an informative lecture was organized at Pimpri Nursing School in collaboration with Yashwant Rao Memorial Hospital for all batches on 01/2/2025 Post Exposure Prophylaxis, and other essential aspects of leprosy prevention and management
World Hepatitis Day
World Hepatitis Day is observed every year on July 28 to raise awareness about hepatitis, a viral infection that affects the liver. These aims focus on awareness, prevention, and education to combat hepatitis. World Hepatitis Day is celebrated by playing role play on the 29 July 2024 at Kamat Hospital premises by the student of first year General Nursing & Midwifery.
World Health Day Celebration 2025
World Health Day 2025 was celebrated by Pimpri Nursing School & Kamat Hospital at Kamla Nehru Hospital on 7th April 2025 at 12 PM. The theme for this year, “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures,” focused on maternal and newborn health, emphasizing the importance of proper care during pregnancy and early childhood.
World Suicidal Prevention Day
Kamat Hospital & Pimpri Nursing School observed World Suicidal Prevention Day on 10/9/2024 aims for celebrating World Suicide Prevention Day to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health and encourage open conversations about mental health. Pimpri Nursing School GNM students participated in a National Seminar on Suicide A Crime & A Vision Beyond organized by Institute of Public Health and Hygiene College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences, to raise awareness about suicide prevention.
ORGANIZED TUBERCULOSIS AWARENESS RALLY COLLABORATION WITH TALERA HOSPITAL, 24th April 2025, 9:00 AM
An awareness rally was conducted at 8:00 am by the First Year GNM students of Pimpri Nursing School in collaboration with Tuberculosis Unit of Government Talera Hospital, Pune-33. Cervical Cancer Awareness and Vaccination Camp conducted by Kamat Medical Foundation
We have organised a cervical cancer awareness and vaccination camp at Parishree Multi-speciality Hospital aimed at educating the community and providing HPV vaccination to help prevent Cervical cancer. Date : 19/4/25 Time: 11 am to 2 pm
